Telecomguy,

You can not be implying that NT or LU should be valued like an internet company. Internet companies may not be valued on current cash flows but they are valued based upon expecations of future flows and future earnings predicated on continued astronomical growth.

NT and LU do not qualify as internet plays.... and if you're going to use that as a basis certainly CSCO applies more closely to this thinking than does the telecom suppliers.

Exactly. I try to base my valuation of companies on future cashflows, which despite the internuts of today, is still the only relevant measure in my book. When a company is predictable, they get premiums. When a company can't earn money, eventually they are punished. Let's see how it all pans out. It sure will be fun to watch.
