Crude/Techs/E&P's - Is crude not trading today? Both the sites I use are still showing Dec 31st quotes? Also, watch the Nasdaq 100 today. Opened around 192, now around 186 which is still +3 points. Can you imagine what a negative or a flat close would do to tech sentiment? E&P's down a little, but volume is extremely light so I don't think it's telling us much. I agree with Slider, we need to keep an eye on gas prices, but I don't think we'll see the degree of weakness in E&P's that we saw 1 month ago. BTW QQQ now at 185 1/2...Foreign money came into techs pre-y2k as a safe haven and now's it's leaving imho.
