Y2K bugs showing up: To reproduce this Y2k bug, select F1 after rebooting Compaq/Pentium (120mhz, etc.) system with a 1995 Micron motherboard. Result: system date in the PhoenixBios is 1/3/1900. The system date didn't roll over correctly. This also occurs in: Micron/NT4.0/Pentium system too with a 1995 Micron motherboard. It appears to be a PhoenixBios Y2k bug which ships with the Micron chip. 2 other Y2k bugs on bought systems. It doesn't seem to appear on 1997 or later motherboards. After manually resetting date to 2000, systems seem okay. Anyone else get this? I wonder if the reset is good enough, or should I upgrade the PhoenixBios from Micron for this (assuming they've got a BIOS upgrade to a 95 mb)? Thanks, Amy J

Hi Process Boy, Real glad to see that you are back. How is Coppermine doing ? The Coppermine ramp was trickier than I first thought since you were ramping up the brand new unqualified "notched" process in four fabs. How is the ramp progressing. When will the output completely satisfy the customer demand ? Hopefully you will flood the distributor segment soon. The speed race with AMD has gone as you had predicted , a neck and neck contest. Are you in a position to talk about the availability and performance of the larger cache versions of Coppermine. Any other comments you might have ? Regards.
