Maybe I'll write a book: "The Schizophrenic Investor." He's a bull! He's a bear! He's both in one!

I think I should do well with my options this year, and so will I.
:-)

Seriously though, the strategy of buying leap calls and short term puts is covered well in Roth's book. Just think about it, for a stock like Qualcomm with its volatility, or with just about any Nasdaq stock, the way the Nasdaq has run, you just know there will be major corrections. So when the corrections come, your puts make money, and when you think it is close to the bottom, you sell them, and use the money to leverage back into more long positions. That's the theory anyway, I'll let you know how well it works when the correction comes.
