BR -- Do you REALLY think CSCO's margins will fall to the 50s in 2000? Given they've actually went up last quarter, and how tightly CSCO manages this, I think you may be mistaken. On NTs strategy: If you look at IT manager surveys, where they are asked what criteria are most important for purchase decisions, price is almost never among the top 4. Service and support, familiarity with vendor, strategic direction, interoperability, etc. are always at the top. NT can't buy its way into the Enterprise market with price alone ... Or performance for that matter.
