Chat - Valence Technology: fundamentals aside, I understand you'd be on the short side if you had $ at risk. After all, it isn't making any profit yet, but had even more % gain in 1999 than NEON from its lows! <g>

VLNC is a story stock, like ANCR used to be (and it ran from low single digits last year to the 90's!)

VLNC has less direct competition than ANCR did, and the market for high density, rechargeable batteries (cell phones, laptop computers, etc) doesn't seem to be shrinking! <g>

I have no position in it right now, after taking mucho profits (too early) in 1999, plus a loss on an "accidental" short sale that I don't want to run afoul of the wash-sale rule upon.
