re: "A 10% move in AMD price for anyone holding January options is very significant!"

Forgive me. I keep forgetting that you guys exist. I am genuinely afraid to trade AMD because I will get out and never find a good opportunity to buy back in at the right price. I am just too unsophisticated for such trading. I just buy and buy and buy and hold and hold and....

Unless something fundamental (or is it FUNNY MENTAL?) changes, of course.

Regards,

DARBES

RE: 10% MOVE IN STOCK PRICE

HEY NICEGUY. WELL INDEED 10% MOVES IN STOCK PRICE ARE SIGNIFICANT FOR US OPTIONS PLAYERS. I GOT BACK INTO JANUARY OPTIONS TODAY, AND TALK ABOUT FALLING ASLEEP ON FRIDAY. I HAD INTENDED TO PURCHASE THESE ON FRIDAY AND KNEW I HAD TO BEAT THE SHORTENED SESSION CLOSE. DIDN'T MAKE IT. UNFORTUNATELY, THAT SPIKE UP I WROTE TO YOU ABOUT EARLY THIS MORNING ACTUALLY TOOK PLACE AND ALMOST LEFT ME BEHIND.
WELL LETS HOPE THIS IS THE NEXT LEG UP.

REGARDS
ED P.
