Excerpt from my message 13932 on Dale Baker's 50% gains board--before I checked YAHOO and this site to find out SCH's execute/confirm problems continue.

"...My res for Y2K (for investing anyway--I won't bore you w/all the other res's I'm making, or ought to
<<ggg>>) is to be a bit more persistent, wo hype, on this thread if you don't mind, and to follow
through my own ideas more vigorously.

I did say here: KIDE was ripe for a short right before the awful Pokeman movie came out--it went from
over 90 to 30's. ISLD in the 30's was a good sympathy play before AKAM IPO'd. It soon was in the
100's from the 30's. And of course NETP.

Partly in my defense, I was going through the traumas w/ SCH and then the transition from it to DIR at
the time. All done now and happy. I get good, quick executions, and ready to jump aboard the right
IPO train. Thanks again to you, Richard.

BTW, watch out for SCH. I pesonally wouldn't use it again for online trading unless I knew first hand it
has its problems under control. The execution and confirmation problems more than negate the mostly
wonderful Platinum team members and the new Velocity package. Sure you can call a live person if you
are having troubles, but as often as not, your team member is as helpless as you (when you get
through), since most of the problems (MM and margin department) occur on the other side of a
firewall. SCH is ok for buy and hold types, but SCH has misrepresented itself as a viable tool for the
active investor.

Interestingly, I just got a notice over a class action settlement w/ SCH being proposed for the very
problems I had. I don't know what the terms are, but it's obvious based on the bad experiences I had
that the suit did not resolve the problems. The class action attorneys don't really care of course. They
still get the bulk of the settlement before moving on to the next target. I will say SCH is a master at
advertising and marketing. Great ads."

Interesting to see SCH still doesn't have its act together. Frankly, their Signature Platinum website is more user friendly than DIR's, but I'll take reliability and a straight story any day. The switch was a pain, and I was out of the market during a significant part of the runup in late Nov. early Dec. However, it's been worth it.

Made just one trade today. NOIZ. Quick execution and confirm. Batting 1000 so far. And the IPO ops look great. The worst thing about SCH is that I was lied to. It may end up being a good investment. But if you are an active trader, you would be best using another vehicle. Good luck.
