I have had cable modem from MEDIAONE (now AT&T) for about 4 months and I think it is great. Some have said it is slow at times but I have never experienced this problem. I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago so perhaps other parts of the country have different problems. Also I have never heard any complaints from people in my area that have cable modem. I have never used dsl so I cannot comment on it. Dennis

Hi Kathy We are going cable modem when they get around to it (end of month I think) would rather go for high speed phone but not available here yet :(

Hi kathy, I have DSL thru Sw Bell at my house. Love it, no problems very reliable. We have Cable Roadrunner at work (small office in a house where we could not get Tele DSL). Seems to work OK but I have more problems with Bad pages and stuff. I know it was cheaper to install - $49 vs SWB $200 (could be cheaper now) and monthly costs were roughly the same... Cheers..txl
