Get an ethernet hub and you can have several computers on the connection at the same time. I hear that cable slow down because the bandwidth is shared; also you can see other computers on the cable network in your "neighborhood." Of course, if the servers are slow (e.g., SI) you will still wait for a download or page refresh ;-)

OT...Am looking to get Level II quotes but my area only offers the old 56K speed. Is this fast enough?
