I'm still here, but mostly lurking. Still Java programming, thankfully, and the Windows porting thing is done (too much backslashery for comfort). I've been quiet because I have nothing to say. SUNW continues to reach the valuations I expected of it, and I expect it will continue to run with the market. It finally exceeded Microsoft in P/E ratio (whatever that is), but still has a way to go before it takes its place along side Cisco. Y2K was the impressive non-event I expected, and I now have the satisfaction of getting on with some real work, while the Y2K consultants go look for a new job. Good luck, anyone who can add two digits to a date field can probably learn to program Java too. I'll try the Indica: thanks for the recommendation. P.
