Yes, special insight is needed for the NDX. I want no further part in it. The NDX is detached from fundamentals. The gap up this morning was a freak. My guess is that it will just crash one day when no one expects it.

The SPX is slightly to the upside regarding forward P/E, but still within grasp-able limits. The upward-break of the Long Bond yield impacted the SPX as it should have. I'm glad to see the last SPX addition was not an NDX member.

I just noticed that GE didn't gap up this morning, and ended the day down significantly. I thought that indices would be safer to trade than stocks, but I now wonder if it would be better to find a few large Dow stocks to short in a "weak" (rising interest rates) market.

Bought HIFN Jan 55 Calls HXQ @ 13/16 for speculation only.

Way Out of money but in a hot industry VPN market.
