Dear Gregor:

Thanks for sharing your insights. I am truly encouraged by what you wrote. I believe that one of the lessons of the parable of the prodigal son is that we are all prodigal sons or daughters. The Bible says that all have sinned so we have all been as lost as the prodigal son about whom Jesus taught. It does not matter in God's eyes that we may not have done the same things as the prodigal son in the parable did. Sin is sin and therefore we are all as guilty and are now or have once been as lost as the prodigal son was. When we celebrate the return of a prodigal, what we call getting saved, we are celebrating God's grace, not just for the newly saved, though we are also celebrating that, but also the grace he has shown us through the sacrifice of Jesus. Yes, I will join you in celebrating for His grace knows no bounds and is truly a matter to shout about. Let's Party!!

In Christ, Tom

PRAISE REPORT..I know a lot of people think that putting something like this on the thread is no big deal but I want to give the Lord some credit where credit is due. I am a bit of a 'maniac' on personal health. I set as a goal to max out my bench press, I'm 51 years old and weigh 180. I benched 225 last week and want to bench 250 this winter. My previous best was 205 over 30 years ago. So , in Christ, we CAN DO ALL THINGS for He strengthens us.........and right now I'm off to the gym.....Thank You Lord from the bottom of my heart!!!!!!
