" Let me give some "KUDOS" to a program that so far seems to handle dates - Y2K - before and after - exceptionally well. I use a slightly out of date version of Paradox - Version 7 - which I bought when Borland (now Inprise) still owned it. After the new Millennium, Paradox 7 - on its own - converted all displayed dates to 4 digits for <year 2000 and reduced the display of >year 2000 digits to 2 digits from 4. One cautionary item - entering a transaction from last year as 12/29/99 - posting AFTER the Millennium - now assumes that means 12/29/2099 !!! So a smart program must still be understood properly. To the best of my knowledge resetting the clock is sufficient." Hi Gerald, Thanks for your reply/post. They (the 95 mb ones) are now reset. One interesting thing did happen today- my friend tells me two of his investment accounts are reporting zero balances. I would not want to be an IT manager at a brokerage firm today. Best, Amy J
