Monday January 10, 5:26 am Eastern Time Company Press Release ECI Telecom to Supply Wireless Local Loop Solutions for Atlantic Telecom New Coverage Area in the UK ECI Telecom Receives Over US $20 Million In New Orders From Atlantic Telecom PETAH TIKVA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2000-- ECI Telecom Ltd.'s (NASDAQ/NM symbol: ECIL - news) fully owned subsidiary, InnoWave ECI Wireless Systems Ltd., ''InnoWave'', announced today over US$20 million in new orders, from Atlantic Telecom, a subsidiary of Atlantic Telecom Group PLC, to deliver fixed Wireless Access solutions in the UK. InnoWave's MultiGain Wireless (MGW) systems will be deployed in Atlantic Telecom's new license area in the North West of England, centered on Manchester, as well as its existing operating systems in Scotland. The North West of England is one of the new license areas awarded to Atlantic Telecom in 1999. To date, tens of thousands of business and residential subscribers are connected to Atlantic's services in Scotland's main cities including Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh through InnoWave's MGW systems. During the past four years, InnoWave has received major contracts from Atlantic Telecom for its wireless solutions, including a $10.3 million contract announced in mid 1999.
