OT Many people confuse bull market with their ability to invest in stock market.

Of course, and of course I don't think I'm one. Raising the question occasionally is healthy, because I'm quite clumsy in a number of aspects of investing, and need to get better.

Sure, this steadily rising tech market covers up a lot of my sins. I wouldn't last six months in the old days with average 10-15% a year return and recessions every 3-4 years.

But this isn't the old days, and we'll never see another market like this in our lifetimes, and I darn well am going to keep taking home a piece of the action now, for as many years as it lasts.
