PS: OT,,have been researching the Oceanliner Vaterland,,confiscated at the beginning of WW1(1917) at the Hoboken piers..Believe it or not, I inherited a ships clock which came out of the "Kaisersuite" courtesy of my Great grandfather, who was a US Navy Commander at that time...Apparently, he had sticky fingers<g>..I have very well documented evidence, that it is the real macoy..Check out the ship,,take a virtual tour
"The people here are very friendly, and after only a few minutes you have your first class ticket, which costs you 980 German Reichsmark. The prices for first-class cabins range from 520 marks to 2000 marks for the gigantic "Kaisersuite," but you don't want to spend THAT much money. So you take the best single-bed cabin available on the ship."
The "Kaisersuite" must have been some very fancy digs..
