No questions about it. AOL sucks!

My only Internet access in San Jose last week was thru a friends AOL
id. I used it to check my emails and the stock market. AOL drops
the connections on the average 3-4 times during the day and I wasn't
in sleep mode either.

Got to believe if CPQ or CMGI ever team up and get into the ISP game...they flush AOL down the drain.

MeD-- correct,, it all comes to mktg. AOL is a great stock with a product dedicated to the masses,, the unknowing or uncaring masses. Those looking for use of the internet use have Netscape on a much different ISP. Those wanting a buffet of unused products believe they are getting a bargain by have so much unused info available. I saw an unbranded machine tonight with about 50 'free' programs. Even the games are a joke,, how that machine could be called a bargain even though it was cheap I'll never figure out,,, a Home Shopping Network heist is more like it... even had the very same scanner Staples advertised for $19.99 last week,,, sometimes when you get more than you pay for the quality is gone... like AOL busy signals or slow traffic,,, yeah--thats a bargain at higher price than many others.. thatfully there are other large companies that will not be swallowed or driven out... but you must have the stock...
