The Knot (NASDAQ: KNOT - news), the leading online wedding resource and gift registry, announced today that Wedding

As America Online's premier wedding content provider, The Knot will now extend its wedding information, tools, and services
beyond America Online, where it initially launched in 1996, to reach the millions of visitors on CompuServe, AOL.COM, and
Netscape Netcenter.

In the newly-launched Wedding Areas on CompuServe, AOL.COM, and Netscape Netcenter, The Knot will be featured as
the premier content partner, providing interactive planning tools, etiquette tips, up-to-date articles, and an extensive bridal gown
and accessory database. On CompuServe, The Knot will launch exclusive features such as The Knot's Guide to Second
Weddings and The Knot's Guide to All-Inclusive Weddings.

``We are thrilled to be expanding our long and fruitful relationship with America Online,' says David Liu, CEO, The Knot.
``The launch of wedding areas on AOL's other brands will enable millions more to-be-weds to access our extensive wedding
planning resources.'

In addition, The Knot Wedding Gift Registry, which features over 10,000 hand-selected products-from fine china to camping
gear-will be an Anchor Tenant in the Wedding Registries area of AOL's online shopping destinations: Shop@AOL,
Shop@AOL.COM, Shop@CompuServe, and Shop@Netscape.

``Since its launch on America Online in 1996, The Knot has been on the forefront of providing innovative wedding content and
services,' said Jonathan Sacks, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AOL Interactive Services. ``Having The Knot
as the premier wedding content partner across our family of brands provides AOL and CompuServe members, as well as
visitors to our Web-based brands, the best possible information and services to help them plan their weddings.'
