Jan,
Your track record is superb -- having said that, did the put purchases work out for you at the last YHOO earnings announcement? I recall a brief drop after the initial euphoria, so I assume you were able to exit in that dip? I'd be interested in your thoughts about YHOO's post split action (do you anticipate a 2fer, 3fer or 4fer?). Thanks
JF3

Eric, be patient, it's "almost" time to buy Yhoo puts.

Jan,

Please tell me when. I am game:-)

Jan - I'm thinking about purchasing a small amount of puts on the 11th (Yahoo's report date) and then perhaps more on the 12th (day after). History shows a pattern of a major run-up the day of announcement, and then a pull-back afterward. The problem with this time around is that Yahoo is most certainly going to announce a stock split - which will most likely send the stock higher. However, I'm almost willing to buy a small number of puts on the 11th anyway - knowing that there is a strong likelihood they will be worth nothing on the morning of the 12th (if the historical pattern holds, they will be worth something).
