And speaking of dumb kitties. At seven this morning, the men came and tore off my countertops. They won't be back with my beautiful new ones until Thursday, so the sink is in the garage, and I have no kitchen. And there are no countertops, which unfortunately Myers didn't realize when he went to jump on a counter and instead of landing on a solid surface, he disappeared into the cabinets. He wasn't hurt but he WAS seriously embarrassed, and had to pretend that he knew all along that was going to happen and that he MEANT to do it, by gosh, because he needed to look out the drawer holes. So he sat there on a shelf looking out through the empty holes, like a spy. Kitty Hari, Kitchen Security Force. When he decided he'd done it long enough to prove to himself and me that it was planned, he meowed, and I went over, opened the cupboard and let him out.
