Kash - Re: "My impression is that Mobile PIII's are out there in some volumes. Frankly they seem a whole lot more available that 700/733/750 coppermine desktops."

Yes - these have been available for about 1 1/2 months.

The Mobile Coppermines were not saddled with the Camino/Rambus/820 debacle and delays - and went straight to production.

<Re:"mobile PIII 500's">

As I have noted a few times, CuMine is going to excel in laptop applications until AMD releases Athlon core based laptop chips. This and the low cost structure of CuMine are two of the very few positive things Intel got going for itself until it puts forth a competitive core. Between Win2000 driven business sales and resurgent laptop market share and margins Intel may have a pretty decent Q1.
