john, the fed doesn't care about asset inflation. the fed will continue to pump reserves and increase money supply at double digit rates until *consumer* inflation picks up.

well, that is unless they can re-define consumer inflation fast enough! ;-)

Happy new year, John. I apologize for my confusion about your opinion of this Fed's handling of the dollar. I believe, however, that asset inflation is outside the Fed's domain.
