IMO it is worth the difference, which isn't that much these days.<< I don't have the ATA66 controller, but the sucka definitely flies. BTW It does boot faster: 65 seconds vs 80 seconds. I didn't have the jumpers on my #3HDD and my CDROM set right so it was taking extra time looking for them. This is a dual monitor setup, so it would be about 50 seconds with 1 monitor.
