I have also noticed more info/discussion on ADR's and foreign stocks. The foreign markets have not gone anywhere near as crazy as the U.S. market and many people feel there may be more upside overseas than here.

I think most are better off using a good mutual fund for their foreign investments. Information can be difficult to find. American investors investing in U.S. stocks have it good due to all the required disclosures.

hi dave
certainly the talk on mcony has raised the issue of adr's on this thread. however there has been much speculation by traders, analysts and stock publications that this could be a banner year in the european markets especially for tech issues. many of those desirable stocks trade in the U.S. but many do not and one can only purchase them through adr's. might be worth some of your time for research.
