Rarely do I take a look at a personal profile, but there was something in your post that caused me to wonder where you lived. Glad I did.

Mainly because following your link to "Rodrigue" brought me to "The Other Brother". Still smiling.

I've "met" Rodrigue a couple of times. First when wandering into a little store by the Henderson exit on I-10. Came face-to-face with Tiffany and it was love at first sight. Geo. just happened to be in the place and we chatted for awhile.

About a year later, Sweetie and I were walking in Carmel after dinner and noticed Blue Dog's new home. It was kind of late and everything in town was closed, but this door was wide open, so we walked in. There he was again (this either just before or after "official" opening).

As we were leaving after some "touring" and conversation, Geo picked up a card (about 3" X 4") and did a quick black ink sketch of the pooch and signed it.

Do you think I have ANY IDEA where that thing is??? There have been other screw-ups in my life.

Have a good evening. Thanks again for the Rodrigue site. I have bookmarked it.

Mike

Sherry, <<I'm never satisfied>>>

Let's pray that soon you turn your heart over to Jesus Christ. The world with all it's glitter can never really give lasting satisfaction.

Chris

I missed the Egyptian Y2K celebration, Sherry. I saw pictures of the fireworks at Giza, but wondered if all the people and loud noises and vibrations was really very good for the pyramids, which are already threatened with disintegration.

Which Kostia CD would you recommend? I do not like cacophonous, booming music much, preferring mellow flowiness. Except when I listen to rock, of course.

I went through a period when I liked the blues, but now they sort of depress me, and since I am not really poor or suffering, I felt a bit hypocritical listening to them. They seemed to fit me more when I was younger.
