Jan, that is one neat story. You reached out, found something you liked, and ran with it. Many never do that, so, in that respect at least, you are fortunate.

Great story and speaking for myself and I'm sure those who read and post on this thread we are all grateful to you and Tom Dorsey for teaching us PnF.

What a great story Princess! Everything comes around full circle, doesn't it?
Think of all the people you've helped!
WOW, I'm getting a warm fuzzy right now. I love it when the events string together and illustrate how we are all tied together by certain decisions and circumstances.
And if Tom wasn't such a great and accessible guy you might not have been as taken with the whole idea of shaking up the way you did things.
Hell, him answering the phone personally on that particular day could be key to many of us being piffers now.
The fact that you felt somewhat lost prior to your P&F awakening enabled you to be much more understanding and patient with others who were the same as you before you found it.
This, in turn, helped to make you an excellent teacher since you could relate to their/our frustration.

That, my girl, is a great great story.

Jan,

Thanks for sharing your "PnF testimony!!"

What an encouragement you are to those of us who are just starting out. I think the most surprising thing about your story was the relatively short time span we are talking about.
Whats that saying.....

You've come a long way baby!!!

(now I really want to go to Virginia...am working on that, do you think you are going to be there??
