Lizzie -- did you see the Drudge Report today? He claims someone was multi-tasking at the White House Y2K party. Seriously, cabinet jobs really are important. I think Espy was a lightweight, but this was, after all, supposed to be the most ethical administration in the history of the cosmos. I worked in the space program several years. The people from NASA and the Air Force were required to put money in a jar and file a report anytime they went near a free drink or a snack provided by a contractor at a conference or a launch. Bit humiliating but you gotta do what you gotta do. I suspect these people's abilities and integrity approached your own. M
