Amy - <in Intel's case, how about Paul Engel>

I'd like to see AMD invite Paul to an AMD CC. He's currently long AMD, and I'm sure he'd be asking questions "outside of the box" as far as AMD was concerned. <VVBG>

Maybe companies could invite a person into CC who represents only the individual investors, e.g. Motley Fools, or, in Intel's case, how about Paul Engel, or even Paul's fav, TheRegister (gasp, I know, but they've demonstrated the ability to ask the unaskable or unthinkable - i.e. no one but them could even THINK like that - so, they do lean towards the "creative" and "imaginable" and certainly have an independent streak, not the "herd" mentality.

I agree. Current CC's do not take into account the growing influence and awareness of the retail customer. On AMD's last CC, everyone treated it as if it were a break through when AMD accommodated the retail customer at all.

Also, why aren't CCs a bit more humorous and entertaining?

Because then it would not be work!!!
