Dorine - <Intel Jerusalem plant gets Bosch contract>

Forigive me as I wax nostalgic: Intel used to have a fairly sizeable chunk of its revenues emanating from automotive microcontroller contracts, particularly with Ford in the early to mid eighties. If I remember correctly, Intel lost that contract, which was pretty painful at the time, i.e., DRAM business was going south pretty much at the same time, and microcontrollers were bringing in the lions share of revenues for the whole company.

I find this development nostalgically satisfying, along with a hope that this particular design win is a precursor to more embedded wins.
