All that's bright must fade,
The brightest still the fleetest;
All that's sweet was made
But to be lost when sweetest.

Dear Joel: OK, here is the most constructive comment I can think of: Perhaps this past quarter results were in fact caused by Y2K lockdown and THIS quarter will make up the difference!! How's that for putting a happy face on all of this? JDN

Well, a couple of constructive comments:

First, the stock seems to be recovering a bit in the pre-market; second, if 18 is the low, it wasn't long ago that that would have seemed a pretty good price.

more in a minute...

The only good news is - "Windchill" is for real and is selling though slowly. The MCAD sales will be lethargic - but to efface two goof ups - one in the summer of 1998 and one today - will take a while! If PMTC closes over $ 20 today, I'll forgive this goof - Stock is capable of going back to $ 30 next year.

I just saw Joe Kernen yak on CNBC @ 9:04 that PMTC is tanking today - but Rick Schottenfield, the guy who touted PMTC last week, is still buying and is bullish on PMTC, due to Windchill.
