Thanks David! Jon and Michael [Allard] and you others who have bought handsets or can do so. It seems that you might make a good profit by selling your handset on the second hand market when stocks are out and the price of handsets zooms up.

It sounds as though they have got a frenzy even at the high retail $1.69 per minute. [Admittedly on the flimsiest of evidence]. Good grief, that will be amazing.

Y2K looks as though it could be a LOT of fun.

They might as well charge like wounded bulls, including international calls, if the phones are selling out.

Why on earth didn't they contract for 400,000 handsets 4 months ago if they were so sure their $1.50 was the right price per minute?

Now they are going to have to pay Qualcomm big time!! Qualcomm will put up the price of the handsets to balance supply and demand.

I'm glad I own Qualcomm stock!
