Another interesting note on a wild day..

Is it too late to jump on the Internet Bandwagon?

Ask market expert Don Rowe, and he'll give a resounding NO!
E-commerce is expected to explode from $150 billion
this year to $3.5 TRILLION by 2004. That's equal to the
entire Gross Domestic Product in the U.S. in 1982. With many
countries just discovering the power of the Internet (and many
yet who haven't) the next four years look to be red hot for
U.S. and foreign companies poised to take advantage.

For example, Internet cell phones are now available in Japan
and some parts of the United States. Eventually, Rowe sees
people carrying portable laptops that are continuously
hooked up to the web.

In the short term, Rowe says, "I do expect the stock market
to be extremely volatile in January and February with
numerous pullbacks, and hence, numerous buying opportunities."

In the latest issue of his newsletter, the Wall Street
Digest, Rowe features ten highly profitable Internet
companies poised to take advantage of this incredible
growth. Included is web-publishing software icon Macromedia,
which pioneered the wildly successful Shockwave Player and
Flash software.
