WIND might be a good play here with their smart chips and connection to wireless...and possible link to QCOM in the future. Appears to be overold.

Voltaire,
Could you give an idea on how to learn about leaps?
I own Q common, but would be interested in the leap strategy.

Thanks,
papaovey

are LEAPS improperly priced?
they seem to cost little more than Feb calls
since the split, pricing seems whacky
thanks, Jim

Hello all, I've been a lurker of the QCOM thread for some time, I think I have graduated from the RB boards (Although I've contributed my share of juvenile emotion to that board.) From time to time it may emerge here, MY ADVANCED APOLOGIES. I am in awe of the accuracy of a number of posters on this thread. You know who you are.

An odd thing happened to me this morning, For the first time,I witnessed my three year old black Cocker Spaniel "NasdaQ" suffer what I would term an epileptic seizure. Coinciding with todays Market rumble, it has caused me to pause and reflect.

I am not a superstitious individual, however I am certain I named him appropriately. His qualities display euphoric happiness mixed with guaranteed unpredictability (In addition to todays finding, I have spent a small fortune in an effort to manage his disposition, I cannot trust him around children....)

This brings me back to my original thought; While QCOM maintains these wonderful heights, on a daily basis, will I be required to be as vigilant to QCOM as I am to my dog? I would like to think not, my time line is 24+ years out. I think my modest investment in QCOM will eventually be a DELL, CSCO, or INTC. Am I kidding myself?

I ask this because I do follow the IBD strategy and it requires an investor to maintain an exit strategy, I believe QCOM is an exception to this rule. Has my ego blurred my vision?

Thanks in advance, Tim

BTW: averaged into QCOM @ $102.
