THis is the first time since about $4 that the stock has pulled back significantly two days in a row. The resiliance in the rise has been unbelievable. PUMA had the highest percentage gain of all listed stocks in 1999, so a pullback for profit-taking is not surprising.

I'm not worried--a stock doesn't have the largest gain without having something very powerful going for it.

Dont expect a stock split anytime soon.

The last shareholders meeting it was voted to increase the number of outstanding shares. I cant remember the exact count, i believe it was increased to 60M. But the increase was voted primarily for acquisition purposes. Their stock is a currency they are using to buy companies like netmind. And they dont have much reserve to increase the float thru a stock split.

It should be apparent to those that have followed this stock over the past year that Puma has lost its momentum here. The 50 day moving average is in the upper 70's. Puma can easily fall to that level, if not lower.

This was an amazing stock last year. The gains were enormous, beyond my wildest dreams. I'll never forget Puma having bought at $36. The word momentum got redefined with Puma. Ode to Puma. You were the Best!

PS I'd like to meet the fool who bought at $142.
