NETM moving on news:
NetManage(R), Inc. (Nasdaq: NETM), announced today it has signed a worldwide agreement with ICL, a $4.4 billion global IT services company, to incorporate new infrastructure connectivity software with ICL's Fujitsu TeamPad(TM) 7100 family of handheld computers. The agreement extends ICL's
end-to-end solutions for wireless environments such as retail, route accounting and inventory management. Financial
terms were not disclosed.
ICL's Handheld Systems group, which distributes Fujitsu handheld systems in the United States, United Kingdom and
Europe, now includes NetManage Inc.'s PC/TCP Network v5.0, one of the most popular TCP/IP software products for
systems running DOS on handheld systems. The software enables PCs to share files and printers, access remote
applications, share resources and run distributed applications in shared Windows, Unix, AS/400 and mainframe
environments.
