HJ, I was in Sydney, planning the move when ETrade came there. I wanted to buy the IPO gaming stock TAB. But then, didn't want to go thru the hassle. Just used Prudential...Boy - are those full service brokers expensive ? Considerig the fact that the shares go up by a miniscule. I think I bought at 2.00 and sold at 3.50 or 4 or something like that after 6 months !!!! %age wise it was a good move. OLB will do very well in Australia IMO. I'll pass. I'll have to pay tax in Australia. Right now I'm negatively geared on investments there...
