Sonny,

In all honesty I am enjoying today's dip. It was needed and long awaited. Of course different people will have different opinions on what the drop means. All I know is that the Bears will be crushed once again. I smell a bear trap forming.

All you need is the right drug in this market. VVUS is up today, going against the tide <ggg>.

Brian. Tinnitis in your shoulder. Yes. It would be a medical wonder.

That would make him a cricket or a grasshopper, right? If I remember correctly from science class their ears are on their legs...

Sonny ---Glad that you and Frank bought "Q" . I really feel that that we have all made a great investment for the next five years . I am really looking forward to the roll out of "HDR" this fall .It will revolutionize the way we communicate with the net and each other . The more I research "Q" the less worry I have about it

BEST WISHES
BILL

Good Evening Sonny, Well It is raining here in Philadelphia and of course we all know it rained today on the Financial markets.I guess we all knew that the correction had to come and it really is not surprising given the fact that we are in a new tax year and many with humongus profits wanted to take some off the table. Anyway it is volatility that makes our good fortune.

My shoulder has been bothering me with annoying tendonitus. Going tomorrow to see the Doctor to see what further treatment I can get. My therapist gives me stretch exercises then she give me electric stimulation with a cold pack at the end. You ought to see her Sonny, she looks like something out of Playboy magazine. She is enough to make one want to take a cold shower.

Congratulations on your buying 100 shares of Qualcomm and 100 shares of JDSU. It was my intention to buy a couple hundred more shares of JDSU on New Years Eve at the market opening and sell my LGTO but some goof ball talked me out of it and I have been pulling my hair out for not listening to my own judgement. I sold the LGTO anyway under what I paid for it but that is a common story with me when I sell. Better not to sell but to hold for the long haul. I have 400 shares of AOL.
800 Qualcomm,200 Jdsu and 269 shares of CMGI. All have been very kind to me and I think I will hold on to them for 5 or 10 years and see what happens. Yea I know I said that crap before and what did I do when there was a downturn.Poof
Well I am going to try to be a little more patient and calm this time.
Timing the market swings plain sucks and you wind up missing great rebounds with good stocks. Gee if I would have kept my friggin AOL and CMGI since I first bought it I would be whistling dixie.

Maybe like Yaacov says Clinton keeping Greenspan around may be good as he may not raise interest rates during an election year??
Tomorrow if we start to look like we are getting a recovery or whenever I may try to get some more JDSU.

Best Wishes and I am going to print out my portfolio since today was the largest drop ever. Maybe in a few months or years I can look back at this and say so what??

Frank
