<<Hard to believe, but wasn't it just FOUR(trading) days ago that we were at this level? The mighty Q does spoil us!>>

Isn't that the truth! I started to really question the mind-set of many recent *investors* when I was hearing regular comments to the extent that a stock that only doubled in a year must be a POS.

Reality check: Naz is down ~4%, wireless and fibers I follow are avg down ~4%, Qcom down ~8% (not a big surprise after a virtual string of 10 and 20 % up days) ; conversely, Gstrf's up ~3%, Lor's up ~8%.

Philip Fischer said the average holding period for his stocks was around 20 years; he held one stock for 53 years. Fischer said that once an outstanding company to invest in has been identified, it is only on rare ocassion that a decision to sell must be considered; and (almost) never during the first three years following purchase. I think Qcom is one of those "outstanding companies".

To each his own; good luck to everyone.

We have yet to see a real correction. We will see one. Might be happening now. Might not happen in 1/3/6/12 months. But it will happen

Nichols--could you be a little looser with your time frame? Next month or next year is just too tight a prediction. <g>
