AMF, LEAPS are a pretty narrow vehicle. I believe there are only a few hundred companies out of the thousands that are public on which the cboe offers LEAPS.

LEAPS: Not enough volume (translation = interest) yet for LEAPS on GMST. JDSU may have LEAPS offered by the end of the year.

AMF:

Re. why JDSU and GMST don't have LEAPs:
I asked this question at Waterhouse last week and was told that LEAPs are issued when demand for them builds. Because of JDSU's rise in price and popularity this year, and because of GMST's recent addition to the Nasdaq 100, I was told that the probability was high that 2001 LEAPs will be offered on both stocks this March. I certainly hope that's true.
