Peter if this is true, I think we've got a hell of a year in front of us. :) I'm a little suspicious though, I mean there are daytraders out there punting away on esoteric news like this? Does anyone follow this thing that has been waiting to get in I wonder?? A million shares or more traded after hours! Food for thought.

As of Mid December, short interest was down significantly from peaks. I'm not endorsing Ariad, but the closing of the Aventis deal gives them a new life. Combine the cash levels with Berger's new found interest in controlling the cash burn (says it should be significantly below $10M/year) and the company now has a future.
