I just saw the news report on Owensboro. It was a F3 tornado with winds from 156 to 206 miles per hour. 50 homes completely destroyed. 200 to 300 homes severely damaged. Hundreds more homes received damage. Total of 800 buildings damaged. 5,000 still with out power. Power expected to be out for some for a week. The storm snapped 40 main transmission lines to the town. They had just placed into service a new early warning system. They had enough warning that only 13 people got injured and none seriously.
