Gyspy put some conviction behind your 2-3 months correction call and short these so called "high flyers." Just want to see how sincere you are. I will continue to buy.

>> I hope QCOM can hold support at $160, but I suspect that $120 - $140 is a possibility, especially considering how QCOM has been overhyped the last couple of weeks.

Gypsy King, qcom is a certified Gorilla, using the term in the technical sense of Geoffrey Moore's The Gorilla Game. Since the G&K gang "discovered" it in March, we have felt its growth would rival csco's. Look at Gorilla Cisco's long term graph:

finance.yahoo.com

There were a few dips in 1991 where Cisco fell from a split adjusted 25 cents to 18 cents and people who had bought at 14 cents bailed (as in "locked in their profits"). Many of them never got back in, because they felt the stock had "gotten away from them". Today they tell their grandkids that they could have been rich if only they'd known.

We know! Lengthen your investment horizon, and I think you'll see there is no reason on earth to sell Qualcomm at this moment in time. As Dr. J implied, the best is yet to come for Gorilla Q.

jmho,
uf

Monday A.M. Q @ 200, Tuesday P.M. Q @ 160 (or so). That is a 20% drop in (sort of) one day !

(Not sure if anyone else has pointed out this profound mathematical phenomenon yet).

All those looking for a big pullback in QCOM -- um, I think we just had it (?)

Jon.
