Thanks for your response. Misery loves company. But after the Nasdaq gained on monday, it did seem like the institutions were going to take their profits gradually. So much for trying to guess other people's intentions. One would hope, however, that once the dust settles it would be a good time to go shopping for puts to write. At least that giant crater lurking out there is now a lot shallower. Regarding your 35%, that is roughly my objective to establish an independent income. Are you at this full time? How long have you been consistently generating those returns? I'm trying to get a sense for whether this is a realistic expectation over a long period of time, or if I am just deluding myself based on early successes. -David
