BYIT board responsiveness policy: recap for new and current shareholders With many new shareholders, this may be a good time to review our previously stated policy on responsiveness to shareholder questions posed on the boards. It is important to us to properly set expectations. Here is a reprint of our board post of Dec. 22, 1999, titled: "From SmartStockAdvisor: Board Responsiveness Program and Answers" HouseHold Direct.com and SmartStockAdvisor have worked out a program to now be more responsive to relevant and significant questions posed on the Internet boards and via phone or e-mail to SmartStockAdvisor. To set expectations, our goal will be to answer the important questions first, typically within 4 hours, if posed between 8am EST and 6pm EST. (Mon-Fri). Answers that we have readily available will be posted sooner than questions that must be addressed by the Company. If an answer requires a longer period than 4 hours we will offer an explanation why. If a question does not get answered, we strongly recommend that shareholders please call or email SmartStockAdvisor. To the posters who are waiting for answers to their questions that were asked on Tuesday, you may have missed our answer posted on Tuesday afternoon: "It's another busy day at HouseHold Direct.com and we thank you for your patience. Several answers to questions posed should be forthcoming later today or tomorrow." Bear in mind, that while the Company and SmartStockAdvisor wish to be as responsive as possible to shareholder questions, certain other business goals and meetings may often grab the attention of HouseHold Direct.com management. It truly is a very busy and exciting time at HouseHold Direct.com. Because this may become the norm, we may decide to gather all question at day's end, so that management can deal with all questions at the same time later the same evening or the following day. We will let all know of a policy change if it becomes necessary. Again, as stated above, feel free to call or e-mail SmartStockAdvisor. You may, in some cases, get a more immediate answer.
