Yeah, I agree re: VTSS, which I also own, still holding onto some of its gain from Monday.

One more thing about CNBC. Besides their penchant for melodrama, they are also, at times, just plain sloppy . After Sqauwk this A.M., Liz Clayman ( who I usually like ) comes outta nowhere and says something like ( and I paraphrase ) :" watch out for the chip stock stumble---wait a few minutes and we'll tell you why." So I say what now? Another quake in Taiwan? the Chip Bill to Book guy now says chips suck? Cell phone growth, say the analysts, expected to slow and they had it all wrong?
What?

None of the above. Its AMAT ( a chip capital equip. company! ). AMAT did something possibly hinky with their accounting! Yeah and????? In other words not chip related at all from a fundamental point of view.
Ok, one could reasonably argue that my pique is just about semantics. And I'll buy that to a degree but CNBC really needs to understand that wording and meaning and nuance are crucial elements to perception and as some have said, perception is everything. RFMD is a chip company, so is VTSS and CNCX but AMAT is an equipment company and the difference does have a distinction.

Then I went to work.....
