why do traders choose to become part of the si landscape? >>> I ask myself that sometimes, but I really feel it helps to keep me on top of the latest market trends. The quicker you can get wind of the latest fad, the quicker you can jump on the opportunity and squeeze some MO CA$H out of the market. Personally, I'm not here to be a GURU or follow a GURU. But I have taken notice of some genuine talent on SI, and I'd be curious to know just why these people care to share their wisdom with the masses. But I'm not going to ask or start a controversy over the issue of internet communication. I look at it in a macro-sense, and I try to take everything with a grain of salt, because it's so very easy to bend the truth when you hide behind an alias. Alas, nobody should be here to judge, but to share in the wealth of information that we all have access to because of the internet and forums such as SI. Wall Street was around long before SI and the internet, but ideas and information have been traded over the years among participants in all markets more so than actual positions. The communication mediums through which those ideas pass are the only things that have changed. I look at SI and the internet as a means to manage information overload and facilitate smart investment decisions. I don't mind being part of the landscape for these reasons. B-- SI landscaper
