Skeets, The perception is that the US has been strong and the world weak. However, the US GDP has been growing much slower than the European economies once you back out chained dollars. Also, there are simply too many bucks in circulation. So, I don't think a weak world combined with a weak US favors the buck. We had the perception of that last year and the Yen gained 38% against the Green Meanie.
