Could you explain why that is more significant than a 1 3/4 point drop in AMD today, a larger percentage drop?

At the time AMD was not down that much or I would have commented.

This was a bad day for everyone, and I would be reluctant to draw any conclusions about anything based on the markets today.

I disagree. Stocks are not created equal, and they do not go down or up equally. By watching them in market conditions today, one may learn things.

For an example AMD today did not respond like a stock who's whisper # is $.13 above consensus estimates. Up until today, I thought AMD was fine. As for Intel, its stock has not been acting right since September. Recently I thought it was getting better but I not so sure now. Today it responded like a stock that is over extended...so did Dell. And everyone knows that neither are over extended. In fact they are some of the few stocks in the Nasdaq that are not overextended.

Having said all that, I was responding to Kash's comments who feels Intel is fine and the stock is doing well. We were both exercising are right to free speech. That's all.
