You heard wrong. $250 is the post split number. I don't need a perfect memory to provide that information, just a browser.

Let me second what Mike told you: the correct target, at this moment, is $250. What you heard was wrong (e.g. $1,000 post split).

The $1,000 target was given **before** QCOM had its split. When targets are given they are always given in terms of a stock's price on the specific day the recommendation is given. Q was selling for over $500 when the $1,000 target was stated. Had the analyst said he had a 12 month target for QCOM of $250, even if he clearly said post-split, people would have gone nutty--not reading very carefully, some would have dumped their shares expecting Q to *drop* 50% over the next year.

Wherever you heard $1,000 this year, post-split is guilty of mis-reading the actual analysts' release. $250 **not** $1,000.

Perfect memory sometimes-

Lynn
